Opponents for Katsidis and Asis confident of upsets

 
A smiling and quietly confident Eddy Comaro touched down with his team ahead of his bout and the ring return of Michael Katsidis ‘The Great’.

 
Comaro made it very clear to all that he wants to go home to Indonesia a superstar by defeating Katsidis this Friday night. Comaro, the former sparring partner of Indonesian legend Chris John said “I’ve come to Australia to win, I will knockout Michael Katsidis. I want to go back to Indonesia a superstar.”

 
His teammate and opponent of Jack Asis, Arief Blader was short and sweet when interviewed by media, “I’ve seen Jack Asis, he is well known in my country, I will beat him.” Both Indonesian men are in great condition for their bout’s and are excited for their chance to knock off Australia’s elite fighters.

 
Promoter Brendon Smith said, “These boys have come over here looking to knock off our boys and become legends in their country. Jack is very well known across Asia and Michael is known everywhere in the world, so a win here would see them sky-rocket to stardom like their fellow countrymen in Daud Jordan and recently retired Chris John.”
 

These fight will take place on the undercard of “Smithy Brings the Big Fights 6” which will be headlined by the comeback of Michael Katsidis, returning against tough Indonesian Eddy Comaro.
 

The card will also see Filipino star and adopted Toowoomba boy Jack “The Assassin” Asis take on Indonesia’s Arief Blader. As well as this undefeated local star and current WBC World Youth Silver titlist “The Great White” Brayd Smith against dangerous Argentine Jose Saez. Undefeated local KO artist “The Fighting Fisherman” Kris George will put his “0” on the line against fellow undefeated boxer Ozan “Crash” Craddock for the Queensland welterweight title.
