Katsidis goes face-to-face with Comaro, fight stream announced

 

MICHAEL Katsidis came face to face with the man he will be standing across from come Friday night, Indonesia’s Eddy Comarro. Katsidis spoke at the press conference today thanking his sponsors and trainer Brendon Smith to help him get him on his way to his ring return.

 

“There has been a lot of blood, sweat and tears shed during this training camp and I honestly can’t wait to get back in the ring, it’s been a while and I’m ready to show the world I’m back on Friday night.”

 

Katsidis’ trainer/manager Brendon Smith said at today’s press conference, “We have done all we can to prepare for this fight and Michael looks good in the gym but now we have to take that to the ring. He hasn’t fought for two years and this next 48 hours is the most important time of his career, he has to be able to peak at the right minute of the right hour for this fight and our work is not done until his hand is raised in victory.”

 

Eddy Comaro made it clear yesterday that he has come to Australia to win, with his lack of English he made it clear, “I’d like to thank Michael Katsidis for the opportunity for this fight, I will win, will knock him out.”

 

It was also annouced today by Smithy’s Promotions  that their expected sell out show of ‘Smithy Brings The Big Fights 6’ will now be live streamed across the world.

Promoter Brendon Smith said at today’s press conference, “As there was so much interest surrounding this night, we have decided to run with the live streaming, this will allow fans all across the world to view the return of, Michael Katsidis ‘The Great’ as well as all of our other superstars on show.
 

“I watched the fights they broadcast from Melbourne last Friday and the stream was great quality and uninterrupted, so I thought let’s get it out for the world to see, lets showcase Toowoomba and Queensland’s best boxing. Tickets are still available at Smithy’s gym on Anzac avenue, but be aware tickets are selling fast. I would like to thank the town of Toowoomba for once again supporting such a great event and good night of fights.”
