Relive classic Horn-Zerafa clashes tonight on Fox Sports
VIEWERS can relive the epic two-bout rivalry between Jeff Horn and Michael Zerafa in prime time.
Horn and Zerafa clashed for the first time in August, with the Victorian underdog shocking the boxing world and upsetting the former WBO welterweight titleholder’s plans for a lucrative middleweight title shot against Japan’s Ryota Murata.
Tune-in tonight as part of ‘Fight Week’ on Fox Sports 507, with the both fights televised in full.
“And Michael Zerafa says sayonara to Jeff Horn’s Japanese dream!”
That was the memorable turn of phrase with which Main Event commentator Ben Damon greeted the knockout moment, on a crazy night of Australian boxing.
“It was a phenomenal performance from Michael Zerafa,” added Damon.
“He was a heavy underdog but he is a top class fighter and it became clear that the Horn camp had overlooked and discounted him. They would not do that again!”

The rematch came in Brisbane last December when the pair took part in one of the greatest bouts in the history of Australian boxing.
Much like the instant classic in Bendigo, commentator Ben Damon introduced the winner with a now infamous phrase – “And Jeff Horn is reborn in Brisbane!”
So Damon told the Main Event audience at the end of an incredible ten rounds.
“The legend of Jeff Horn was born again in many ways that night,” he explained.
“It was a vastly improved boxing performance and an other-worldly recovery late in that brutal ninth round, plus he got back on top of Australian boxing.
“That ninth round was undoubtedly the greatest round I’ve ever called and to my knowledge the best round ever in Australian boxing.”
Fight fans can enjoy both bouts tonight on Fox Sports 507 as part of a packed combat sports schedule for ‘Fight Week’, which includes replays of some of the best action from Australian and international boxing, as well as content from the UFC and WWE.
