TONIGHT the spiritual home of boxing in Brisbane, the Mansfield Tavern, hosts a nine-fight card topped by an intriguing stylistic match up in the main event.

 
Once beaten duo Shannon King (8-1, 7 KOs) and Liam Hutchinson (10-1, 5 KOs) will collide for the Australian light middleweight title over ten rounds.

 
King, 37, has only lost once as a professional, being a controversial split points verdict in February 2014 to Sam Ah-See. King is looking to make his first successful defence in his second reign as champion.

 
Hutchinson, 22, is going into the fight as an overwhelming underdog, despite his pedigree. The talented prospect will have to overcome a height and weight deficit on the night to score the upset.

 
The night’s semi main event boasts the championship debut of undefeated former Olympian Paul Fleming (19-0, 13 KOs), who faces Chaiyong Sithsaithong (36-12-4, 26 KOs) for the WBO Oriental super featherweight title.

 
Fleming, 26, returned from an eighteen month hiatus in November and is looking to have an active 2015.

 
His Thai opponent has given rounds to quality operators such as Josh King and Patomsuk Pathongpathong.
