Daniel Geale and Sakio Bika to share ring for Davey Browne Tribute

 
FORMER world champions Daniel Geale and Sakio Bika will share a ring in the name of charity.

 
On Sunday December 6th, the Australian boxing community will come together to celebrate the life of Davey Browne. The biggest boxing event of the year will raise funds for Davey’s wife Amy and their two young children.

 
Browne tragically passed away following his IBF regional title bout with Carlo Magali in September.

 
The Campbelltown favourite was an accomplished amateur who complied a 22-2-1 (8 KOs) record, becoming an Australian champion – while winning many regional titles – including the WBC Youth featherweight title.

 
The Davey Browne All Star Tribute event will feature several prominent Australia’s boxing stars, who will lace up in exhibition bouts.

 
The event will be held on Sunday 6th December at Ottimo House on Campbelltown Road, Deham Court, with doors open to the public at midday AEDT.

 
The family friendly event includes rides, a jumping castle, face painting, pony rides and big screens showing all the action with kids under the age of twelve given entry for free.

 
Entry for adults will be $50 and corporate tables are available. To purchase tickets, call 4647 9941.

 
All profits will be donated to Amy Browne and her two children, so please throw your support behind the event.
