Fight Highlights: Sam Goodman vs. Cesar Vaca

ONCE again, Sam Goodman risked his shot at the super bantamweight throne held by Naoya Inoue.

This time around, Goodman (now 20-0, 8 KOs) widely outpointed Mexican wildcard Cesar Vaca (now 19-2-1, 12 KOs), successfully topping the bill at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion.

In his first bout in almost 12 months, the unbeaten 26-year-old fought through adversity, including the reopening of his well publicised cut.

The popular Albion Park resident was favoured by scores of 100-90, 99-92 and 99-91.
