STARTING at 11:00am (AEST), Aus-Boxing will have live round-by-round coverage of Brisbane’s Jarrod Fletcher, who is looking to break the run for Australian’s losing streak when challenging for world titles in the US, when he faces big punching American Danny Jacobs for the WBA regular middleweight title from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

 
Fletcher vs. Jacobs is scheduled to take place at 11:00 AM EST sharp. This time will vary depending on the length of the earlier fights.

Jarrod Fletcher and Daniel Jacobs have entered the ring and now getting official introductions. Fletcher in the Black with Gold trim trunks, Jacobs in the Grey trunks.

 
Round 1:
Jacobs working the jab early, Fletcher keeping his distance. Fletcher goes down and gets the 8 count. Back up, Fletcher not tying up and has no response. Jacobs attacking with everything he has. Jacobs is pouring it on here Fletcher nearly down again and is just surviving. We will get through the first round. Fletcher was down once but would have to be a 10-7 Jacobs

 
Round 2:
Fletcher begins boxing a little more confident now. He is lucky to still be in there. The tempo has slowed some what. Fletcher keeping his range. Jacobs turns southpaw and hooks to the body. Much slower pace from both to open the round. Jacobs appeared to hurt Fletcher for a second with a stiff counter jab. Much better from Fletcher that round but Jacobs in control. 10-9 Jacobs

 
Round 3:
Pace continues to slow after crazy first round. Both guys throwing out the jab and looking to set up shots. The fight is definitely slower and it is a much better round again for Fletcher. Jacobs, while waiting to counter, still landed more punches 10-9 Jacobs

 
Round 4:
Jacobs turns on the tempo early after both fighters exchange big hooks. Jacobs lands series of right hands at close range. Good left hook from Fletcher at close range as he begins to time Jacobs. Jacobs works the body and connects up top which hurt Fletcher. Fletcher’s confidence beginning to grow. 10-9 Jacobs

 
Round 5:
The fight takes a turn as both fighters exchange jabs. Good right hand from Fletcher. Fletcher beginning to have success again with his right hand. Jacobs answers over the top with a hard right, Fletcher hurt badly by Jacobs who begins to let his hands go and now pours it on Fletcher gets caught and looses his legs. It’s over.
