Paul Nasari talks Explosive Fight Night III

FOUR weeks away from the biggest night of his promotional career, Paul Nasari cannot contain his excitement.

The Sydney-based Nasari and his established promotional firm Neutral Corner Fight Promotions have put together a stacked ten-fight card, featuring no less than six evenly matched title fights at Netball Central on March 12.

Speaking at the meet-and-greet day at the Tea Garden Hotel in Bondi Junction, Nasari was full of enthusiasm.

“I’m feeling great knowing that it is a good card,” said Nasari in an interview with Aus-Boxing.

“Fact is – the fights are pretty evened up – just check the records out between the fighters,”

“They are similar, which makes for very even contests across the board,”

The card will be headlined by a salivating matchup between world lated lightweight Brandon Ogilvie and Australian titleholder Darragh Foley as well as an intriguing battle between Jack Brubaker and Paddy Murphy.

“The last two fights will be something to look forward to,” added Nasari.

“The main event is where are all the eyes are on, but Brubaker versus Murphy will be one to watch,”

The media day, which also served as an opportunity for boxing fans and locals alike to mingle with the events combatants, was well received with a large Irish contingent packing into the local establishment.

“It was pretty packed at the meet-and-greet and the Irish were certainly out in force,” said Nasari.

“When it was Darragh’s turn to speak, the crowd went crazy. Paddy Murphy and Gearoid Clancy were just as popular,”

“The Irish certainly love their fighters, just as much as their drink,” he joked.

Despite the card being a matter of weeks away, Nasari admits he still can’t pick the best fight on the card.

“Pretty much all the ten rounders,” he concluded. “You just don’t know who’s gonna win,”
