Sakio Bika confident of making history in Quebec City

AUSTRALIA’s Sakio Bika will return to the ring on Sunday morning (AEST) to challenge reigning WBC light heavyweight champion, Adonis “Superman” Stevenson in Quebec City, Canada.

Adonis Stevenson is rated as the best light heavyweight in the world and has not been beaten in the past five years, boasting an impressive record of 25-1 (21 KOs) record.

The bout will be televised on Al Haymon’s “Premier Boxing Champions” series and will be shown live in Australia on Main Event pay-per-view with the telecast starting at 5am on Sunday April 5th.

Sakio has completed his training camp in the US and is focussed on making history.

“Training has gone well, Florida was a fantastic place to train; my preparation for this fight has been perfect,” said Bika in a press release. “I feel strong and I look forward to testing Adonis,”

“I am very confident that I can handle Adonis’ power, but can he handle mine? On April 4th we will see,”

“I will show the world that I belong at light heavyweight when I strip Adonis of the title and become a two-division WBC champion,”
