VIDEO: Lucas Browne – “At some point Leapai and I will have to clash”
ALL eyes will be on Australia’s two heavyweight hopes as they line-up separately in two fights of great magnitude.
From Oberhausen, Germany, Alex Leapai will challenge lineal heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko for his WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight titles, while Lucas Browne will challenge Eric Bahoeli for the vacant Commonwealth heavyweight title in Sheffield, United Kingdom.
Speaking exclusively to Aus-Boxing’s Johnny Davidson, Lucas is talks about his progression through the heavyweight ranks as well as his preparation for Bahoeli and a potential fight with Alex Leapai in the future.
Davidson also interviews Browne’s manager, Matt Clark, who speaks assuringly about a potential blockbuster match-up between Australia’s premier heavyweights.’
“If Lucas wins and Alex comes up short, I don’t see why we can’t defend the Commonewealth title against Alex,” said Clark, Browne’s manager.
