Weigh-In Results: Jackson vs. Manakane, May vs. Kustiawan

TONIGHT two exciting cards will take place across the country and last night all participating fighters successfully made weight.

First off from Hobart, Tasmania, reigning Australian featherweight champion Luke Jackson and his crafty Indonesian challenger Nouldy Manakane both tipped the scales.

“My opinion doesn’t change, I know what he’s capable of,” said Jackson at his official weigh-in.

“You can never judge a book by its cover,”

“The guy (Manakane) is my toughest test. He’s coming in there to take my head off,”

“I fought his brother (Ruben Manakane), who was my toughest fight to date. His brother gave me a good fight and I believe that Nouldy is the better of the two,”

“His resume speaks for itself, he’s challenged for the WBA world title. He’s coming to beat me in my hometown and I’m not going to let that happen.”

Meanwhile in Bunbury, Western Australia, local prospect Nathaniel May and his opponent, two-time Indonesian titlist Agus Kustiawan both made weight ahead of their WBA regional title fight.
