Weigh-In Results: Les Sherrington 159.6 vs. Antoine Douglas 159.8 ‪

 
HIGHLY touted prospect Antoine Douglas and his Australian counterpart Les Sherrington successfully made weight ahead of their unified regional title fight in Las Vegas tomorrow.

 
The ten round WBA and WBO affiliated title fight will be the headline attraction as part of a quadrupleheader event on noted US cable giant Showtime, who run the signature series ShoBox: The New Generation.

 
“Douglas has been consistently entertaining throughout his fights on ShoBox and is fighting another older, more-experienced opponent once again,” noted Showtime Sports analyst Steve Farhood.

 
“Part of the satisfaction of watching fighters develop on ShoBox is seeing them graduate to contender status. Douglas is just about at that point; he is taking his final classes.”

 
Sherrington, 33, will go into the fight as a heavy underdog despite winning two consecutive fights following a stoppage loss to former IBF middleweight champion Sam Soliman in 2013.
